Introduction
Veralix Foundation ('Veralix,' 'we,' 'us,' or 'our') is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit our website, use our platform, or interact with our services. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you engage with the Veralix Aegis platform and associated services.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as name, email address, and institutional affiliation when you create an account, subscribe to publications, or contact us. We collect technical data including IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and usage analytics through standard web technologies. We do NOT collect, store, or retain any evidentiary data processed through the Truth Intelligence Platform. All evidence processing occurs in zero-persistence Ghost Mode — data exists only in volatile memory during active processing and is cryptographically destroyed upon session termination.
How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to: provide and maintain our services; communicate research updates and platform announcements; respond to inquiries and support requests; improve platform performance and user experience; comply with legal obligations. We never sell personal information to third parties. We never use personal data for advertising purposes.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest for account data, and hardware security modules for cryptographic operations. Our infrastructure undergoes annual third-party security audits and maintains SOC 2 Type II compliance.
Data Retention
Account information is retained for the duration of your active account plus 30 days after deletion request. Platform usage analytics are retained in anonymized form for 12 months. Evidence processed through TIP is never retained — Ghost Mode architecture ensures zero persistence by design.
Your Rights
You have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate information; request deletion of your data; object to processing; data portability; withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@veralix.org.
International Transfers
Veralix Foundation is incorporated in the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users and posted prominently on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
