Our Commitment

Veralix Foundation is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards throughout our platform development.

Standards Compliance

The Veralix Aegis platform is designed to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We implement semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks, keyboard navigation support, sufficient color contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text), and screen reader compatibility across all pages.

Accessibility Features

Our platform includes: full keyboard navigation support; skip-to-content links; descriptive alt text for all meaningful images; logical heading hierarchy; focus indicators on all interactive elements; resizable text up to 200% without loss of content; no content that flashes more than three times per second; form labels and error identification.

Assistive Technology

We test compatibility with: NVDA and JAWS screen readers on Windows; VoiceOver on macOS and iOS; TalkBack on Android; Dragon NaturallySpeaking voice recognition software. Our platform supports browser zoom up to 400% and respects user preferences for reduced motion and high contrast modes.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some complex forensic visualizations may have limited screen reader support. We provide alternative text descriptions and data tables for all visual analytics. We are actively working to improve these experiences.

Feedback and Contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our platform. If you encounter accessibility barriers, please contact: accessibility@veralix.org. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 2 business days and resolve issues within 10 business days.
